I have just recently discovered a bug, that whenever one attempts to leave a comment on the site, they are redirected to a blank page. http://ogry.net/wp-comments-post.php. The lenthy comments would not even be posted, or shown. After searching and asking questions all around the world wide web, I still haven’t found a solution to the problem, so I had to troubleshoot it myself. After almost an hour, I found the problem. The problem resides in the Adsense Revenue Sharing script, which have been fixed. Don’t worry, it has been fixed, not removed! You will still be able to earn the same revenue you were earning before!
I browsed the internet to find many different people with the same problem. Except that their solutions did not help me at all. I removed all the plugins, and tried it, and the pages just didn’t load. I remember that I modified the template for the adsense plugin, so I enabled it, and the pages worked again, but comments didn’t. I kept looking around, and no answers, until I tried to switch the themes. I switched it to the default theme, and the comments worked. I look through the code, and they all seem to be the same as the other themes, so I keep messing around with it and ended up in failure. I check the homepage of my site, and see that somebody left a comment on the About Page, so I compared the about page to the post pages. It looked similar, so I look back at the adsense integration code with revenue sharing. I just noticed the problem. The code to integrate with the client id was:
google_ad_client = “<?php $id=$post->post_author; echo kd_get_google_id($id); ?>”;
Did you catch the bug? It turns out that the developer of the adsense plugin was using the same variables as the comment ids, which is $id. I had to switch the $id to $aid. Yes, it stands for Affiliate ID, not AIDS. God bless. Now the code is:
google_ad_client = “<?php $aid=$post->post_author; echo kd_get_google_id($aid); ?>”;

Have you try to offer this tip to the developer of of the plug in and the WordPress community, I know they will be happy to find out that there was a fix for it and hopefully say people the headache of tryin to reinstall they wordpres and their plun ins all over again,
